Chris Hedges' articles first came to my attention when I read this article about how religion was playing such an enormous role in Republican politics.
To a large extent I agree with Hedges' when he outs the foxes of imagery but I contest his assertion that we are getting the same old same today, or at least I hope that a man like Obama can and will change the game.
And like William F. Buckley before Hedges, I can listen to him based on my respect for his intellect and not necessarily agree with this reasoning. After all some of my well conceived thoughts are rather spacious, too.
