Pilot Iroshizuku writes

Strawberries and Black Bird

Having been gifted with Tsutsuji (Azalea) and Yama Buda (Wild Grapes), I ordered Momiji (Autumn Leaves) from Jet Pens, the third in the four Autumn colour series of Pilot Iroshizuku inks.

These inks are smashing!

The colours are similar to their names and seem to just flow out of the pens I've used like new clear sap.

Thus far all three inks are performing beautifully in the five pens I've tried: Sailor m1911, Sailor Sapporo, Pelikan m215, Rotring 600 and Lamy Safari.

They also seem to dry quickly, show true in both narrow (F, italic Rotring) and broader (Zoom, Sailor m1911) nibs and not visibly feather.

The Momiji (Autumn Leaves-Vermillion) reminds me of ripe strawberries glistening in the sun, hence the photograph above.
