Checking to see how we, that is the election, is being reviewed and looked upon internationally, I checked with the Guardian and discovered this interview with Diahann Carroll.
I am old enough to remember Carroll's performance in No Strings, and how she broke the colour barrier by kissing her co-star, Richard Kiley, on stage. It was 1962.
Other than thinking she was beautiful and talented, I knew nothing about her until reading this article.
But I do remember the sensation that musical caused and how much I loved sensation.
