What a pleasant surprise: Christopher Buckley

In the Daily Beast, Christopher Buckley makes me laugh, smile, and delight in his prose on, yes, again, Sarah Palin.

But what is most important to me the reader is that Mr. Buckley appears to have developed some or all of his father's humour, mirth and good writing skills.

One of several great losses to readers was the recent passing of William F. Buckley, Jr.

A man who knew how to write, speak and self-edit.

Pity more writers haven't followed in his footsteps.
