First Stop: Paper

My first stop in New York City, after I picked up a bagel, was the Exaclair offices where I spent a memorable morning talking with Karen Doherty, Exaclair's Marketing Vice President--what a pleasure and what a gracious, warm and generous person Karen is.

Exaclair retailers are listed here and seem to cover the gamut from Clairfontaine, Rhodia, J. Herbin and Quo Vadis.

I stopped by the office to pick up a Journal 21, which I will review over the weekend, and just exchange paper thoughts with Karen.

Karen is a fountain pen user, and we exchanged pens for a test. She got me interested in a Sailor and perhaps I got her interested in a Rotring.
